It has been an interesting week for wee Elliott. He has started, of late, to make sounds that seem more like words. The issue is that you hear what you want to hear, so people have heard him speak words as they are close to what they want to hear, but we can’t be sure if they heard correctly.

This week though he not only said a word, he pointed to what he was saying.

Which is proof positive enough, but the fact that he repeated it to others and was shown a different image and then said the correct word is an extra affirmation.

His first real world is ‘star’.

We are enormously proud.

We are also now contemplating that although we were concerned that it was late for him to be speaking, once he starts, it is unlikely he will stop.
