Today Markie was only available in the morning as there is a raft of writing (like this blog) and tasks for the community that he needs to catch up on and organise. This was supposed to be done in the evenings but a busy week moving office and a day out yesterday put paid to that plan.

So a quick trip to Windermere was decided, however the weather had other plans and it turned into a very quick trip with a shorter stroll due to wind, squally rain and oppressive skies.

As they say up here, this would be the valley district if it didn’t rain so much.
