Mark’s sister, Kathryn, had a quite serious operation today. She has suffered with a congenital heart issue for years and now it needed an operation to replace part of the aorta.

Mark went to see her on the twelfth when she had only just recovered from the operation. The op was a great success but Kathryn looked very pale and tired.

She is now making good progress but the photo here shows her looking far better than expected just one day after the operation.
