Today’s family fun day was constrained to half a day as Mark had to work the bank holiday afternoon and evening. therefore it was decided to take a short trip to the Animal Oasis to see the small zoo just north of Carnforth.

It seems we were wise to not go far as the children were both a little subdued, perhaps it was a bit of cold weather blues, but the general mood was dour.

Things perked up a little around the exhibits, but even still there was a feeling we need to return when the weather and the kids are more chipper.
